Ilaria was born in Tuscany, Italy, where she would cultivate her passion for photography from age 11. Right after high school she moved to Milan and attended college where she received a Bachelor's degree in Art with a specialization in Photography. At 21, five days after graduating, she flew to New York City, where she worked with the famous fashion photographer Christophe Kutner. Since then, she has been an assistant for various fashion photographers and magazines and has interned at Anderson Hopkins. However, her most formative experience has been with the prestigious

photojournalism agency MAGNUM, where she

began experimenting with photojournalism and other genres of photography. While there, she also had the honor of meeting her favorite photographers, Bruce Davidson and Elliot Erwitt. Currently, she continues to live in between New York City and Orlando working on her dreamy, romantic and feminine approach to fashion photography and creative spaces
